Description

Do you have only one or two days to spend in Rome or do you wish to visit the highlights of the Eternal City in less than one day? This tour is perfect for you!

The tour begins with one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, the Colosseum, also known as the ‘Flavian Amphitheatre’. The fast track access tickets allows you to enter among the first ones. Dated back to 72 AD, The Colosseum is an unprecedented feat of engineering and extraordinary architecture.

Outside the Colosseum, stands the Arch of Constantine. Built in 315 AD, this triumphal arch was created to celebrate Constantine's victory over Maxentius. The tour continues through the Roman Forum, the central square of Ancient Rome, to the Arch of Titus, the House of the Vestal Virgins, the Temple of Saturn, the Senate House and the Arch of Septimius Severus. Following on from the Sacred Way, you will reach Capitol Hill.

At its base lies the Vittoriano, the greatest marble monument of modern Italy, built to celebrate the country's unification by King Victor Emmanuel II. Few streets away, you will be guided to the Trevi fountain. Created by Niccolò Salvi in 1735, it is the most beautiful fountain in Rome or possibly, the world. Here, you can engage in the Coin Toss tradition by throwing a coin (or two or three) in the fountain guaranteeing your return to the Eternal City. At this stage of the tour, it is lunchtime!

Choose from your tour guide’s highly recommended lunch spots to enjoy a sandwich, an authentic pizza or a mouth-watering Italian three-course meal. After lunch, you will reach the Government district's two main buildings: The Parliament and the Palace of the Council of Ministers. Opposite the palace, stands the marble Column of Marcus Aurelius, an original masterpiece of II Century Roman Art. Just a stone’s throw away, there is the Temple of Hadrian, built by the Emperor Antoninus Pius in honor of his predecessor. You will take a narrow street to arrive at the Pantheon, the best-preserved temple of Ancient Rome.

Crossing Ancient Baths of Nero, you will reach Piazza Navona, the Ancient Stadium built by Emperor Domitian. Today, it is a beautiful elegant square decorated by Bernini and other XVI century masters with churches and fountains, including the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers.

The Tour will end at the most significant site of Rome, the Vatican City. You will have an exclusive experience of the Vatican Museums and the Basilica of St. Peter with the skip the line, fast track access. Soak in the beauty of Michelangelo’s art, the Ancient Italian sculptures and spiritual ambiance, as you discover the incredible Vatican and unravel the mysterious secrets of the world’s smallest country. Join us for an incredible private guided tour of all of Rome’s most significant attractions and landmarks, shown at your own pace. Is there any better way to explore The Eternal City?
